Are You Building From the Past or the Future?

Today’s focus: 10X Thinking
I recently heard Dr. Benjamin Hardy speak on the idea that 10X is better than 2X, and one concept really stood out:
We can’t keep building our present based on our past.
A lot of agents get stuck looking backward. The old market. The old client flow. The old referral sources. The “glory days.”
But the agents who are growing right now are usually the ones building today based on where they want to go next.
The big takeaway?
Bigger goals eliminate options.
When your goals are too small, almost everything seems like an option. You can chase too many things, say yes to too much, and end up average at a lot.
But when you raise the goal, it forces clarity. You focus on fewer things. You think differently. You start making decisions from your future, not your past.
Action items this week:
Ask yourself: Am I building my business based on where I’ve been or where I want to go?
Identify one goal you may be thinking too small about.
Choose the 3 activities that would actually move that goal forward.
Eliminate one distraction, system, or habit that no longer fits your future business.
P.S. Sometimes the biggest shift is not doing more. It is thinking bigger, then cutting everything that does not support where you are going.
